It is water proof, no leaking and it's soft and comfy, but the wash is very bad. Maybe because of the waterproof characteristics, it doesn't get dry when you spin it in the washer machine, so when it finishes the wash, it is completely soaked and takes long to dry, when I put it on the line to dry it's dripping water so soaked it is, a little messy.
